Get Your MySpace Ready! Step One Set up an Email Account. They are usually free of any charges, or just simply use your existing account. Step Two Go to MySpace.com and set up your account. Give your basic information - Name, age, hometown, etc... Step Three Add Codes, Bulletins, Pictures, Video's to your page, go to the Forum to find these: Step Four Add your Lovehammer History, your first Concert, your first time you heard the music, etc... Now that all the groundwork is laid, the real mission starts. 1. Go to a band's myspace - a band that you actually like other than the Lovehammers. Request that band as a friend. Look through the band's friend list and pick a person to add as well. 2. Go to the person's myspace page and check it out. Find at least one good thing to say about it or one thing this person has in common with you. 3. Friend the person, and send them a message like the following one: Hi! I'm [insert your name here]. I saw you on [insert band's name]'s myspace. I love [insert band name] too! I put in a friend request because I think we have a lot in common. Your myspace looks cool! I love [insert compliment here]. Another band you might like is Lovehammers. They are my absolute favorite! You can hear some of their songs on their myspace: http://www.myspace.com/lovehammers. My favorite is [insert Lh song here]. Well, talk to you later! This is just a sample message. Customize it to make it sound like you. This person might write back or not. If they don't, no big deal. If they do, cool! This person could actually get Hammered and turn into a Hammerhead. That just means that you really did add a friend. Ok, did you do all that? Now, go back up to #1 and start over. The more people you can network the better.
