MYSPACE safety from A to Z:

Follow these, share these with your children, and spread the love.


A- Always be aware of what personal information you are giving out to the public, the world is reading what you are posting.
B- Be careful to never give out your address, either it be work, home, or vacation spot.
C- Common sense is good to have on myspace.
D- Do not give anyone your phone number on a comments thread, remember anyone can read those pages.
E- Ease into Myspace slowly, and feel comfortable before you start adding strangers.
F- Find a friend that you know personally, and add them to your list of friends first.
G- Go and report any spammers or people you do not want on your friends list.
H- Have fun, but be smart about it.
I- Ignore people that send you links to win a free gift card, ipod, or stereo. These are all ways for people to steal (phish) your myspace spot.
J- Judge people's pages and look them over closely before you accept them as your friend.
K- Kick their ass if they are mean to you.
L- Leave messages or comments in a polite, nice, non-threatening tone.
M- Marry the first man that tells you he loves you! JUST KIDDING, meeting new friends is cool, but use your common sense and good judgment as to ever meeting people.
N- Never never never give them your children's names, home town information, or personal information.
O- Open minded practices to what people can and will do with said personal information is a must to have, learn, and keep.
P- Put ALL your credit card information, personal bank statements, and home telephone numbers on your home page, NOT NEVER NEVER NO NO NO DO NOT DO THIS. Phishers are evil.
Q- Quiet responding to people if they are not on your friends list.
R- Raise concerns via myspace protocol when you have any concerns, or thoughts about your myspace.
S- Stay safe.
T- Turn in anyone that is harassing you, or leaving comments that you do not want.
U- Utilize the myspace help group with these concerns.
V- View myspace as a great Tool to Spread the Love about your favorite band, meet new friends, and not to get married through.
W- Wipe away all personal comments and be safe, not sorry.
X- Xray goggles do not help you see predators, perverts, and bad people, only common sense- good judgment- and following safety tips will help you live your life safely.
Y- Yell at the local myspace people when you are having a problem with harassment issues.
Z- Zip your mouth shut concerning ALL personal information EVER given to anyone over the Internet.

Follow these steps close and your chances of not being hurt, or having any bad experiences on myspace has been diminished 100 times daily!
